Sam Ruzic, PT
A great asset to our organization, Sam has treated hundreds of Belvidere patients including entire families. Sam graduated from the Mayo Clinic School of Physical Therapy in 1960. Upon graduation, he worked as a Physical Therapist at Ottumwa Community Hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa. He later led the PT department at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa.
Since 1963, Sam has served as department head at two hospitals in Belvidere, Illinois specializing in treatment of a vast array of injuries. From 1997 to 2002, he served as Physical Therapy Department Manager at Northwest Suburban Community Hospital, also in Belvidere. His responsibilities included evaluation, treatment, and education of patients and training personnel.
